Workshop Description:
Learn to make leaded lights from art glass in this three day weekend workshop taught by Nicole Piper of Ultraviolet Stained Glass. We will start with a lesson in safety, then learn how to score and break glass in a precise manner, build a rectangular piece in with lead came and finally cement and polish the panel for strength and waterproofing. These foundational skills will set you up to be able to make windows, framed pieces, or doors. A choice of three patterns will be provided by the instructor. Students will walk away with the panel they made and possibly a life-long passion!
