Workshop Description:
After a brief introduction of the basic principles of 2-d art, there will be a warm up using only newspaper.Participants will explore collage and begin to understand values, which is crucial to painting. Following, each participant will begin a collage of an animal , person or still life. Day two , they will continue on their piece. I will continually rotate, making suggestions and assisting them with problem solving. They will leave with a finished, or close to finished piece, and hopefully inspired. I can guarantee they will be tired!

She takes her inspiration from the great artists of the past, beautiful handmade papers from around the world, and from the fortunate life she leads. After 20 years in Italy, she returned to northern California where she continues to develop her visual vocabulary. She has received the A.D.
