Workshop Description:
We are digging the grave of empire. We are the dirt of the grave.

What if we currently do not know what grief is. What if the medicine of grief had to be buried for its own protection generations ago.

What if the communal digging needs your offerings?

People have been trying to get free for the entirety of our lifetime. The collective fire for liberation has been burning and tended for the entirety of our lifetime. That fire is asking for your kindling, for your authentic voice to rise. It is time to ignite your inner fire and offer it up.

In this workshop we will invite grief to be our teacher, and grief is a teacher of the unknown. We will be writing and voicing and moving from that scape. Where questions are holy, punctuation is optional, and language is sensorial material. This is an invitation to swim inside our heartbreak and allow the ever growing cracks to shape us into waves. This is a portal for grief. A prayer for the liberation of Palestine and the lands of our bodies.
