Discover the ancient art of Sand Casting in this hands-on workshop. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced jeweler looking to expand your skill set, this class is the perfect introduction to sand casting. This accessible technique is ideal for creating unique pieces and can be easily incorporated into a home studio setup.

Upon completing the workshop, you’ll be invited to join our exclusive Sand Casting Open Studio, held twice a month, where you can continue honing your craft. This class also serves as the prerequisite for our advanced *Sand Casting with Gemstones* workshop.

Each week we will focus on a different art material, and how people have used these materials to meet their Fundamental Human Needs (one of which is to create art).

Session II will be a continuum of 3D Materials. We will use plexiglass, paper, cardboard, gel printing plates, natural materials, and plaster to make: faux stained glass, handmade paper bowls, books, Gelli prints, nature mandalas, and sand cast sculptures.
