Mendocino Open Paint Out
We are thrilled to announce the resounding success of the Mendocino Open Paint Out (MOPO) 2023! The week-long event infused the Mendocino Art Center with a vibrant tapestry of color, art, and community. The numbers speak volumes about the event's impact!
With 55 painters participating, the atmosphere buzzed with creativity. Artists from diverse backgrounds captured the beauty of the Mendocino coastline. The passion for art served as the common language uniting everyone.
An impressive 69 paintings found new homes during the event. The galleries radiated energy each day, as art lovers and artists mingled, filling the space with joy and artistic expression. The beauty of Mendocino now graces walls near and far.
Most exciting of all, the event raised nearly $15,000 for MAC. These funds will enrich our future programs, deepen community engagements, and further our mission to celebrate lives through art.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the artists, patrons, volunteers, and sponsors for making MOPO 2023 a masterpiece in its own right. We eagerly look forward to next year's event!
